Check that you are trusted
Trust is a verdict the indexer computes from public data. This guide shows how to read it, how to read a failure, and how to make the indexer look again after you changed something.
Resolve
curl -s -X POST https://idx.testnet.verana.network/v4/verifiable-trust/resolve \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"did":"did:webvh:…","ecsCredentials":true,"services":true,"participations":{"states":["ACTIVE"]},"presentations":{"includeInvalid":true}}' | jq
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
trusted | The verdict: a valid Service credential, and exactly one Organization or Persona credential on you or on the issuer of your Service credential, with every chain intact |
evaluatedAtTime, expiresAtTime | When the verdict was computed and when it stops holding (the earliest expiry involved) |
ecsCredentials[] | Your identity credentials with their claims, issuer accreditation and anchored issuance time |
participations[] | Your active accreditations |
presentations[] | Each linked presentation with its credentials; invalidCredentialIds and unresolvableCredentialIds name what failed |
services[] | The endpoints you declare |
Read a failure
trusted: false always has a reason in the response: an invalid credential id (signature, schema, issuer not accredited at issuance time, expired), an unresolvable one (the presentation URL did not answer), or a missing identity credential. Fix the cause, then re-resolve.
Make the indexer look again
The indexer re-evaluates on its own when a transaction touches your DID. After you changed your DID Document without a transaction (a new endpoint, a republished credential), ask it: the agent does this itself after each publication, and you can do it from the frontend (the participant detail card offers Trigger resolver) or let the agent's VS operator authorization cover it. The message carries no state; it emits an event the indexer listens to.
See yourself where others see you
- The frontend's Agents page renders your DID as a card with trust state, identity claims and accreditations.
- The playground renders a Proof-of-Trust for any DID you paste.
- The trust graph lists you once the indexer trusts you.
Next
- Verify a peer before you connect.
