Find ecosystems and schemas to join
Being trusted lets peers connect to you. Doing something useful with credentials means joining the ecosystem that governs them, in the role you need: issuer to issue, verifier to request presentations, holder to receive a credential about your service.

The frontend's Discover & Join lists every active ecosystem with its governance framework, trust state, counters, and schema cards. The trust graph search answers questions across ecosystems: which ones govern a given kind of credential, how many issuers each has.
Read a schema before you apply
For the schema you need, note three things:
| Where | What it decides | |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding mode for your role | schema card | Open: you self-create, instantly. Ecosystem onboarding process or grantor onboarding process: an onboarding process with a validator, with evidence and fees. |
| Fees and validity | the validators' trust cards | What you pay to join and for how long the accreditation lasts |
| Pricing asset | schema card | The v4 frontend pays fees in the native coin only; a schema priced in trust units or fiat is browsable but its paid actions are disabled for now |
Read the ecosystem's governance framework: it states the evidence, the obligations and what gets a participant revoked or slashed.
